About CARFdesk
CARFdesk exists because the UK's Crypto-Asset Reporting Framework commenced on 1 January 2026, it reaches a lot of platforms that have not realised it reaches them, and most of the writing about it is law-firm commentary aimed at people who already have counsel. This site is the practitioner version: what the rules actually say, traced to the legislation and the OECD source documents, for the person who has to implement them.
[FOUNDER BIO - pending]
Two things we are not: a law firm (everything here is information, not advice), and an enterprise sales funnel (the guides are free, there is no signup wall, and you only ever talk to us when you want to).
How this site works
Guides cite primary sources - the legislation, HMRC's manuals, the OECD schema - and carry a visible "last reviewed" date. When HMRC or the OECD publishes something that changes a guide, it's updated the same week with a changelog entry. If you spot an error, tell us and we'll fix it, credited.
