The short version

The free tools run entirely in your browser — your answers are never sent to our servers. We store your email only if you give it to us, we use it only for what you asked for, and you can have it deleted by asking.

What we store, and why

• Email address — only if you submit it, with which tool or page you signed up from. Used to send the updates you asked for. Lawful basis: consent. Kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
• Tool completion events — which tool was completed and the verdict category (e.g. "in scope"). No answers, no identity, no way to link an event to you. Used to understand which tools are useful.
• IP-address rate counters — a counter per IP address, kept for at most 48 hours, used solely to prevent abuse of our forms. Lawful basis: legitimate interest (service security).

What we don't do

• No cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party analytics.
• No selling or sharing of your data with anyone.
• Your tool answers never leave your browser.

Where your data lives

All stored data is held in AWS's London region (eu-west-2), encrypted at rest. It does not leave the UK.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and withdraw consent at any time — email [CONTACT EMAIL] and we'll action it promptly. You can also complain to the ICO.
